CBI: Rajkumar confesses to involvement in Aarushi’s murder

Ghaziabad special court has on Saturday sent Rajkumar to CBI custody for fourteen days. During the court hearing on Saturday, the CBI has said that Durrani’s servant, Rajkumar had confessed to his involvement in Aarushi & Hemraj’s murder. For the first time the CBI told the court as to what happened to Aarushi’s mobile. Rajkumar confirmed that he had switched off her mobile and then eventually destroyed it.

In his statement to the CBI under 161 of Code of Criminal Procedure, Rajkumar said, “I broke & destroyed Aarushi’s mobile phone. I could however help CBI in recovering Hemraj’s mobile phone & the weapon used in the murder – the khukri”.
