CBI chief warns media on Aarushi murder coverage
Jun 13th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, Delhi News, Haryana News, India News, National NewsCBI director Vijay Shankar, infuriated with news coverage of Aarushi-Hemraj murder case, has on Thursday lashed out at the media & warned it would face legal if it obstructed the probe. Shanker told Media persons, “Media should not raise obstructions in the case & must remain within its limits. If it crosses the limits then CBI would keep reminding you to stay within limits”.
When asked if Rajesh Talwar, father of Aarushi Talwar and arrested for the double murder & his compounder Krishna are still suspects in the case, Shankar said: “Investigations are going very satisfactorily & I’ll not comment on this”.
Aarushi, 14 years old was found murdered in her Noida home on May 16. While police initially named missing domestic help Hemraj as the main suspect, they found his body on the terrace of the house the next day.
