Bus fell into Narmada canal in Vadodara in Gujarat

A bus fell into Narmada canal at Bodeli village killed 44 children in Vadodara in Gujarat. Children were on their way to school on Wednesday morning.

A senior official of Police said, “Forty-Four bodies have been so far fished out of the canal while four children were rescue”.

The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation bus was on its way from Targol to Bodeli when the mishap occurred. Senior officials have rushed to the spot to oversee the rescue operations. The bus was taken out of the canal.

The accident happened at around 6:30 am & most of the travellers were children going to school.
The water released into the canal through the Sardar Sarovar Dam was stopped to aid the rescue operations.
