Bomb Blast in Siliguri, 3 injured
Aug 8th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, Cities News, India News, National News, States NewsAt least three children have been injured after a bomb blast at Shantipara, one km from New Jalpaiguri Railway station & the bomb squad recovered four bottle bombs from the spot. The blast took place when four students of Gatebazar Railway school were roaming around in the area & picked up a bottle appearing to have some jelly like substance inside it.
When one of them tried to open it to have the jelly, the bottle exploded & three of them were injured. One child who stood at a little distance ran away & escaped unhurt. The injured school students, Gobinda Roy, Jayanta Roy & Arindam Roy were admitted to North Bengal Hospital.
