BJP protests against hike in petrol prices
Ram Naik the former Petroleum Minister & senior BJP leader is protesting against the hike in petrol & diesel prices. Poonam Mahajan, the daughter Pramod Mahajan, also joined the protest along with Ram Naik.
Ram Naik said, “During the last four years, petrol prices have increased by 52 per cent & diesel by 60 per cent. If the hike is not withdrawn immediately, the BJP will launch an agitation all over India”.
The former MP said during the NDA Government at the Centre, petrol was sold for Rs 33.15 per litre but now under the UPA, it is available at Rs 50.31 in Mumbai. This hike in price increased the burden on the common man.
