Bail plea of Suresh Nanda rejected

A Delhi court on Saturday rejected the bail plea of arms dealer Suresh Nanda, his son & two others in a case of manipulating evidence on alleged kickbacks received by him in defence deals.
Rejecting their bail applications, judge of Delhi court IK Kochar said, “Investigations are at an initial stage & releasing reports at this point of time may hamper the probe”.
The four accused, Suresh Nanda, Sanjeev Nanda, their chartered accountant Bipin Shah & Income Tax deputy director Ashutosh Verma, were arrested on March 8 in a raid at a Mumbai hotel.
