A local court in Ghaziabad will hear bail application of Rajesh Talwar, the main accused in Arushi murder case on Tuesday as it could not be taken up on Monday following a section of lawyers striking work protesting against firing on agitating Gujjars in Rajasthan. Dr. Talwar is presently under judicial remand for 14 days. On Saturday, Dr. Talwar’s lawyers filed bail applications, saying there was no evidence to link him with the crime & that he suffered from severe asthma.

The police also moved an application seeking custody of Dr. Talwar. Dr. Talwars brother, Dinesh Talwar said the family believed Rajesh to be 100 per cent innocent. Arushi, a class IX student of Delhi Public School in Noida, was found murdered in her bedroom last Friday. A day later, Hemraj, the Nepali servant of the Talwar household, who was initially named as prime suspect by Noida Police, was found dead on the terrace.
