Another Indian student murdered in London, one arrested

British Police has arrested one person in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old Indian student at her hostel in the University of Wolverhampton in London. V Jyotirmayee Nagasaibabu, the Vijayawada-origin student was killed by someone on Tuesday evening. She was died head injuries at Handsworth, a suburb of Birmingham.

The West Midlands police spokesman that the unidentified man, 24 years old was arrested on suspicion of the murder & was currently helping the police with their enquiries. Jyotirmayee, who was enrolled on a postgraduate degree in health sciences at the University of Wolverhampton, was based in the Handsworth area of Birmingham, 11 miles from her campus at Wolverhampton.

A man, also reported to be an Indian student, was found with serious injuries in the house where Jyotirmayeee lived when the police were called on Tuesday evening. He was said to be in a stable condition in the city hospital.
