Amit Kalra Shiv Sena leader surrenders
Amit Kalra a leader of Shiv Sena leader, accused in the kidnapping & ransom case surrendered before the court in Mumbai on Thursday. The court asked him to cooperate with police in the case. An official said that the Kalra the president of District Youth of Shiv Sena was wanted by in a case of kidnapping & ransom, he surrenders before the court on Thursday.
The official said that an Aligarh based family had accused Amit, his friend Mangal Pandey and their other associates for kidnapping their daughter & demanding ransom money of Rs. one lakh from the family for her release.
Earlier, acting on the complaint, police had raided the Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar locality of the city on the pretext of paying ransom to them & arrested one of the accused.
