Amit brought to Kathmandu for interrogation

The kingpin of Gurgaon kidney transplant racket, Dr Amit Kumar has been brought to Kathmandu on Friday morning after his arrest from Hotel Wildlife Camp at Sauraha camp near the Nepali capital at 5 pm on Thursday evening at 5:00 pm. Amit Kumar has been brought Kathmandu from Chitwan in Southern Nepal by road & handed over to the Kathmandu police, Deputy Inspector General Kiran Gautam said. General Kiran Gautam said that he is being kept at the Hanumandhoka police station & the interrogation of Amit will be starting soon. Earlier, the Nepali Minister of State for Home Affairs, Ram Kumar Chaudhary disclosed that Amit Kumar has arrested & is being brought to Kathmandu by road. Ram Kumar Chaudhary informed that a lot of cash has also been recovered from him. “Euro nine lakh thirty six thousand worth of drafts, USD 1 lakh and forty five thousand along with some Nepali currency has been recovered.”
