Amarinder Singh not to canvass in forthcoming polls
Amarinder Singh the former Chief Minister of Punjab has written a letter to Sonia Gandhi. He explained his inability to canvass in by-election of Amritsar (South) assembly constituency & the Panchayati Raj Institutions poll in the state in his letter.
Amarinder Singh had been advised complete bed rest by his family doctor & a team of doctors for at least two weeks after he complained of “vertigo & pain in the neck”. The Congress leader has been ailing ever since he returned to Patiala from a visit to Nabha on May 3.
