After CBI’s clean chit, Rajesh Talwar gets bail
The CBI has on Friday made it clear that they had no evidence against Dr Rajesh Talwar. CBI joint director Arun Kumar said, “As per our investigations Krishna, Rajkumar & Vijay Mandal looked like the prime culprits. We have no evidence against Rajesh Talwar”.
However, CBI made it clear that all revelations were based on the narco-analysis & lie detector test & the agency still has to find corroborative evidence to nail the guilty. Meanwhile, CBI has arrested the third accused Vijay Mandal & has produced him in the court.
Recreating the crime scene, Arun Kumar said, “Krishna & Rajkumar along with Vijay Mandal went to the Talwar residence at night & was let in by Hemraj. They consumed alcohol & then entered Aarushi’s room with the intention of sexually abusing her”.
After she raised hue & cry, she was gagged & hit on the head with a blunt instrument. When Hemraj panicked, they ran to the terrace where they had an altercation which finally led to Hemraj being killed with a cooler’s water pump. The accused then returned to Aarushi’s room & killed her to cover up their tracks.
