6 Ulfa militants nabbed in Bangalore
The Banglore Police has arrested six terrorists of PREPAK, a wing of the ULFS, in Mahadevapura, a suburb in Bangalore. The police zeroed in on a house in Mahadevapura & arrested two of the six insurgents on Friday & the other four were arrested today.
The militants, who were posing as IT professionals were wanted in cases of extortion & other terror activities in the north eastern states. Six mobile phones, fifteen SIM cards & other documents have been recovered from them. They were arrested after a search operation was carried out following tips from Manipur Military Intelligents.
The militans were nabbed from different locations as they were staying with their friends in the city. Interrogation was on and more associates were expected to be picked up soon.
