A bomb was exploded at a VIP area at Babupura in Imphal in which three persons were injured.
The bomb was exploded barely 100 metres away from the chief minister’s residence & the police headquarters.

A senior official of Police said the bomb, which was hidden in a scooter parked in front of the Congress chief whip T Mangibabu’s residence, exploded at around 10.30 am injuring three passers-by.

The injured are critical in situation. The explosion also damaged portion of the wall of the Congress functionary’s residence.
