3 injured after clashes between CMP & RSS members

by admin

Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) & Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) members on Wednesday clashed with each other in Pune in which three people have been injured. The incident, which took place near the CPM office, is a fallout of the fighting between the CPM & RSS activists in Kannur in Kerala last month when seven people were killed.

The violence in Kannur also spread to other cities including Delhi, where the CPM headquarters was attacked. The Rapid Action Force had to be called in to control the situation. CPM leaders, who are currently in Coimbatore for the party congress, have strongly condemned the incident in Pune & have decided to raise the matter with the Maharashtra government.

Meanwhile, the high court wants the Kerala government to furnish all details regarding the investigations into last month’s violence in Kannur. The court said the police are acting partial & warned that if the investigation is unsatisfactory it will consider handing the case to the CBI or create a special court.
