The Left parties have on Friday announced that a day long bandh would be observed in Bihar on June 10 to pressurise the Centre to roll back the petroleum price hike & rein in skyrocketing prices of essential commodities. The shut-down called by Bihar state committees of the CPI, CPM, CPML, Forward Block, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Krantikari Manch & RSP Front, would be of 12-hour duration.

The parties have also appealed to the people to extend their full sport to make the bandh “a grand success”. The parties said that the decision by the UPA government passed a tremendous burden on the people, which could have been avoided.
