by Sunil Sonkar

Mulayam Singh Yadav, chief of Samajwadi Party, said today that the party is against English medium education and also on the use of computers. He said that his party will work to ensure that they are curbed if a government is formed with its support.

At a press conference after unveiling his party’s manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls he said, “The use of computers in offices is creating unemployment problems. Our party feels that if work can be done by a person using hands there is no need to deploy machines.”

Mulayam Singh Yadav also mentioned that the party is against the use of agricultural machines in farming and high corporate salaries.

He said, “A harvesting season brings employment for the labour class for at least six months but these harvesters will snatch their earnings.”

Saying against the high corporate salaries, he added, “The salaries provided by private firms should be in sync with the minimum wages that have been set by the government. This is only the way to build up a strong national capital.”

The manifesto of Samajwadi party manifesto also tells that the party will work to abolish those schools that are providing expensive education in English medium and will provide free education for girls till the graduation level.
