Thin line between Laden and Manmohan’s strength indicates Forbes

NEW YORK: US President Barack Obama and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh shares the powerful people list with the world’s most wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden and fugitive Dawood Ibrahim. It’s the findings of Forbes.

Forbes published a list of the World’s Most Powerful people. According to the list, Barak Obama has been declared as the most powerful person in the world. Next to Obama is Chinese President Hu Jintao and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin respectively.

From India the inclusion in the list are Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Ratan Tata in the resident Indians category. Among the non-residents Indian are fugitive Dawood and Lakshmi Mittal, the steel tycoon who lives in London now.

Dr. Singh has been ranked 36th, Mukesh Ambani in the 44th place and Ratan Tata in the 59th position.

Very next to Manmohan Singh is Osama bin Laden, the founder of al-Qaida and the Indian underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is at the 50th position.
