Terror suspect Tahawwur Rana visited Kochi with wife

NEW DELHI, India: In the American terror suspect David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Rana investigations there has been also presence of a woman in their visit to India, who claims to be the wife of Rana, official sources said on Sunday.

Samraz Rana, a Canadian national born in Bahawalpur of Pakistan, traveled to Kochi with Rana on November 16, 2008.

Just before their visit to Kochi, Rana had published an advertisement in an English daily asking all willing youths willing to immigrate to US and Canada for facing an interview at a five-star hotel in Kochi. Both, Tahawwur Rana and Samraz Rana left Kochi the next day.

David Headley and Tahawwur Rana, school friends, were arrested by the FBI last month on charges of carrying out terror attacks in India and Denmark on behalf of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
