2^nd August, 2012, New Delhi: Veteran activist Anna Hazare and the other prominent members of Team Anna will cancel their fast on Friday at 5 pm. The decision was adopted after the rising concern regarding the health of Gopal Rai, Manish Sisodia and Arvind Kejriwal who are on hunger strike since 25^th July.

There was rising concerns whether Team Anna should join politics or not. On Thursday, they declared that they will not be directly into politics but they will support an alternative from outside. Anna thinks that it is not wrong to form a party because it appears that this is the only option left to make sure that only right people goes to the Parliament.

Arvind Kejriwal told that Team Anna is ready to give a political alternative if the nation wants. Their team is looking for a change in the system; they are not looking for a change in the government. The people of this country are fed up with corruption and they want to see an end to it. He also added that if the people of this country want them to play a huge role in politics, then they want their valuable suggestion regarding this.
