Kochi, Feb. 06 — Rahul Gandhi, Congress general secretary, spoke to a student gathering leaders in Kochi on Saturday that his Mumbai visit was a huge success.

Rahul Gandhi’s unexpected Saturday visit surprised all in state Congress unit. He said, “When 15 Shiv Sena activists waved black flags at me, thousands in Mumbai welcomed me. The visit was a huge success.”
Rahul was in Mumbai a day before, rode on local train and also withdrew money from an ATM near the station. With his Mumbai visit, Rahul has won over the people there though Shiv Sena activists waved black flags to protest the visit.
In Kochi Rahul Gandhi arrived at 11.10 am by a special flight and he drove straight to the Kerala Students Union (KSU), the student’s wing of Congress party.
Rahul asked three student leaders in the camp to speak first. After hearing to the leaders Rahul said he would carry their message to Delhi.
Rahul assured the gathering that in his next visit to the state he will be visiting Kannur to address the students.
For over an hour he was at the meeting.
