PM announces Rs 500 cr Arunachal Pradesh
Manmohan Singh the Prime Minister of India announced Rs 500 cr relief package to boost the economic development of Arunachal Pradesh, during his first ever visit there on Thursday. Making his first visit to the Arunachal Pradesh Prime Minister on Thursday said that there is no shortage of funds to foster the pace of development in the hilly state.Addressing party workers at the inauguration of the Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, headquarters of the Pradesh Congress Committee, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh announced a Rs 500 Cr relief package in case of damages done due to bad weather. Dr Manmohan Singh also urged the people to speed up the pace of growth and assist the government agencies in the reconstruction work and modernisation of the North East.
