Patiala court to give verdict in hijacking case

A special court in Patiala today will pronounce its accusation in connection with the Indian Airlines plane IC-814 hijacking case. The three persons Abdul Latif, Dalip Kumar & Yusuf Nepali were arrested on charges of conspiracy to hijack the Indian Airlines flight from Kathmandu to New Delhi on December 24, 1999. On January 29, the court had deferred its verdict for today against the three accused. They have been charged for helping the hijackers in procuring fake passports and to take weapons onboard.
