On Saturday, Pakistan has released 180 Indian citizens for violating water territory. This move has been taken as a part to normalize relations between these two countries.
Four buses will take them to Wagah border where they will be handed to the Indian authorities. Four buses will be accompanied by police for security reasons.
Justice retired Aslam Nasir Zahid stated, “The authorities today have released 180 prisoners which is a very positive development and a vindication of our efforts to improve relations between the two countries,”
A non-governmental organization is working with Indian NGO to release the jailed fishermen in Pakistan and India.
