Mumbai taxi union on strike
The taxi union in Mumbai has decided to go on a strike after their office was attacked by the Raj Thackrey’s thugs. Gangsters, suspected to be activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, attacked the place on Thursday. Stones were thrown at the office & property damaged. Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said that the government was getting a legal opinion on what action could be taken against MNS Chief Raj Thackeray. Vilasrao Deshmukh,”For an arrest warrant, we are seeking the opinion of the Advocate General. Police will take action accordingly”.
