The Mumbai Police on Saturday sent chargesheet against Kasab, the lone arrested terrorist in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, to the Home Ministry. Police have also sent answers to the 30 questions asked by the Pakistani authorities along with the chargesheet.
Home Minister P Chidambaram and External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee had told last week to give Pakistan answers to these 30 questions soon. Chidambaram, however, had said that the answers would be send to Pak only after he is satisfied with the answers.
The chargesheet includes Ajmal Kasab’s confession and transcripts of the attackers’ conversations during the 26/11 Mumbai attack. It also includes about how the boat was hijacked in Gujarat by the terrorists.

On Friday the Interior Minister of Pakistan said that the arrested Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) commanders Zarar Shah and Zaki-ur-Rahman Lakhvi will be released as India has not given any evidence against them.
