Manmohan Singh to visit Arunachal Pradesh

Manmohan Singh the Prime Minister of India will arrive here on Thursday on his visit to Arunachal Pradesh during which he will lay the foundation of a number of major projects. The projects include the 3,000 MW Debang Multi Purpose Hydro Electricity Project, the largest in the country to be executed by NHPC, officials said. Manmohan Singh will also lay the foundation stone of the Harmoti-Itanagar railway line putting the state on India`s railway map & visit Ramakrishna Mission Hospital here which is treating people from not only Arunachal Pradesh. Manmahon Singh will also formally inaugurate the Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan housing the ruling Congress headquarters & unveil a statue of Indira Gandhi before addressing a public meeting.
