NEW DELHI, India: Liberhan Commission report on the Babri Masjid was tabled in the Rajya Sabha by P Chidambaram on Tuesday. The report witnessed a scuffle between the party members of BJP and Samajwadi and there were slogan shouting in the house.

As home minister P Chidambaram rose up during the Zero Hour of the house to lay a copy of the report, the BJP members started chanting “Jai Sriram”.
Amar Singh of Samajwadi Party led his party colleagues to S S Ahluwalia, BJP senior member, in the front row of the seats and pounced upon him by catching his collar.
The party colleagues separated Singh and Ahluwalia.
This scene of the house upset deputy chairman K Rahman Khan and he left the Chair without announcing the adjournment of the House.
After Khan went out, Singh and other SP members went to their seats and they started shouting counter slogans “Ya Ali. Ya Ali”.
