Lashkar-e-Toiba has placed 320 potential targets around the world where they are to carry out commando style terror attacks. Lashkar is a Pakistan based terror outfit and had plotted and executed the Mumbai carnage, which killed over 170 people.
The western intelligence agencies have been able to access the computer and email account of the chief of lashkar, Zarar Shah. The agencies found possible targets list. Out of the 320 targets, 20 are in India.
A report in a newspaper says that they wanted to carry out terror strikes beyond India. Shah and Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, who plotted the Mumbai carnage, are now in police custody of Pakistan.
The western intelligence agencies have warned India that Mumbai raises the spectre of a new style of terrorist assault when ten heavily armed terror gunmen created mayhem for 3 days and brought the city to a halt.
9 of these terror gunmen were killed during their mission, but the lone survivor has given Indian investigators a full confession that the assault was planned in Pakistan the Lashkars.
