MUMBAI, India: The lone surviving terrorist and Pakistani gunman accused for 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks Mohammad Ajmal Kasab Tuesday said he was not a “Jihadi”. He also said that he had not undergone training at the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) camp in Pakistan.

On the recording of the final statement of Kasab in the court on the prosecution evidence, he said that he was a cook with a catering company near Jhelum in Pakistan named “Saarayee-Alamghir”.
He denied of any involvement with the LeT and also with the Jamat-ul-Dawa (JUD). He also declined meeting Hafiz Sayed, Abu Kahfa, Zaki-ur-Lakhvi and Abu Hamza, the four wanted accused and alleged LeT operatives.
Ajmal Kasab said, “I heard the names of Lash-e-Taliban and JUD from the police in Mumbai. Crime Branch officials had shown the photograph of Lakhvi.”

When Kasab was asked by the court whether he was introduced at the training camp to one Major General Saab then he said, “This is absolutely wrong.”
On the basis of his confession in February before the magistrate judge M L Tahaliyani was putting questions to him.
Kasab disowned the earlier confession and said that it was given under duress.
