Kapil filed an affidavit against BCCI

Kapil Dev
Kapil Dev a former cricketer, now the director of the Indian Cricket League, today filed an affidavit in the Delhi High Court claiming that ill-treatment was being distributed by BCCI to players who have joined rebel ICL.
In the affidavit, the Kapil Dev said that the players’ pension & other post-retirement benefits have also been stopped by the BCCI. The affidavit has been filed in support of the ICL’s petition seeking a restraint order against BCCI from allegedly intimidating players from joining ICL.
With a view to protecting the players’ interest in the fight between two “giants” involving BCCI & Subhas Chandra-promoted ICL, the court had in August last year had restrained the public sector corporations to take any punitive action against its employee, registered with BCCI, joining ICL.
