Indian student who was attacked in Australia said today to fellow countrymen aspiring to pursue education in Australia that they should not go to study in Australia.

Baljinder Singh, 25-year-old, surviving a murderous attack said, “My advice to every Indian student now who wants to come to Australia is please don’t come and there’s no life here.”

He also expressed concern over Shravan Kumar’s condition, another Indian student who was attacked by a screwdriver by a group of teens in a separate incident. According to Singh, Kumar is “very, very serious.”

Shravan Kumar is now in a state of coma in the ICU of the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Indian High Commissioner, Sujata Singh, and Consul General in Melbourne, Anita Nayar, visited the place on Thursday.

Baljinder Singh also said one of his friends from Karnal (India) has got a visa to Australia, but he is scared to come to Australia now in the wake of “racial” attacks on Indians.
