Chennai Woman Escapes

her family in Tamil Nadu, in a case of dowry harassment. She escaped her husband’s torture after eight years of marriage, Congress leader Jyanti Ntaranjan Muthumari Bhadrinath said.

For the the safety of her family, the 38-year-old has now filed a complaint in the Chennai police. “He abused me, beat me daily. He bit me on her hands. She said that,”When I requested him to take me to a doctor, he took me there and told the doctor it was a bee bite”. She flew back to Chennai without any help of America, leaving her four-year-old daughter behind. She says her daughter suffers from a heart disease.
