Amar Singh receives death threats, slams Raj

The war over outsider versus Maharashtrians has taken a fresh turn in Mumbai on Friday when Amar Singh general secretary of Samajwadi Party claimed that he has received death threats over the phone. Amar Singh claimed that an unidentified caller said he would meet the same fate as Ramesh Kini, a tenant in Pune for whose murder Raj Thackeray was accused of in 1996. Amar Singh blamed the Maharashtra government of protecting Raj Thackeray. Amar Singh also slammed union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar.
