Again racial attack. 10th student in Australia in a month

One more Indian student has been beaten up by a group of youths today in Australia. This is the 10th person assaulted within a month.

Amrit Pal Singh is a 20-year-old from Haryana and is pursuing a course in community welfare there in Australia from the Caps Institute of Management. He was assaulted near to McDonald’s outlet when he was walking to his work place. He does a part-time job there also.

To the media today Amrit Singh said, “One of the guys came to me and took off my mobile. When I asked him to please give me my mobile back, he gave me a punch on my face. I also gave a punch to him. Following which, his four friends came and started beating me. I have told the police about the incident.”

According to him one of the attackers hit him with knife but as he escaped, the guy hit his bag.”

Shravan Kumar, one of the earlier victims and a student from Andhra Pradesh, remained critical after being stabbed with a screwdriver in Australia. He was attacked by a group of teenagers in a racial attack.
