7 places in Maharashtra on target of Pak terrorists

Mumbai has been drowned in rain and among these tough rainy days a fresh terror alert has kept the security forces busy. Sources say that it is the most serious threat to Mumbai in two years.

The Intelligence Bureau has warned that not less than seven places in Maharashtra could be attacked. Among these seven places includes bank in Mumbai and an important railway junction in Navi Mumbai. The alert was issued on 8th of July. IB has also issued photographs of these seven targets.

Despite the bad weather a sea-borne attack is warned by home minister P Chidambaram. He said that Pakistan-based terrorists could launch another sea-borne attack despite. After this alert from the Intelligence Bureau there has been a massive coastal patrol.

This 8th July alert was issued after a terror suspect detained in Jammu and Kashmir. Police has also recovered photographs of the seven targets in Maharashtra from the detained suspect.
