26/11 Terrorists Trained By Pak Navy Frogmen: Headley

New Delhi, July 19 — Lone captured terrorist of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, Ajmal Amir Kasab, was trained by the Pakistan Navy said LeT operative David Headley, currently in American custody, while interrogation by a team of National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Ajmal Kasab even confessed earlier, during interrogation, that he and other nine terrorists, who attacked Mumbai in 2008, received training of swimming and underwater diving from the Pak Navy’s frogmen.

An official said, “The role of frogmen was confirmed by Headley when the Indian investigators interrogated him in the US last month.”

Headley also disclosed that Pak intelligence agency had given Rs 25 lakh to LeT for the purchase of a boat which the terrorists used to come to Indian fishing boad ‘Kuber’ to reach Mumbai, which they hijacked.
