18th September, 2012: Parents with a single kid must be careful as a recent study revealed that a single child had over fifty percent chance of being overweight. The research was done on 12700 kids in 8 European nations including Sweden.
The study was done emphasis on focusing on lifestyle, diet, obesity and its impacts children aged between 2 – 9 years. The body mass index (BMI) of the children was connected to parental questionnaire which took into account the eating habits of the children, television viewing habits as well as outdoor play time.
The research further tells that single kids hardly plays outside, they tend to stay at house.
