Now Prime Minister Manmohan Singh brings an apparent attack on BJP. Singh said the parties whose politics is based on religion cannot take India forward and he insisted that it is only the Congress party that is capable of dealing with “big challenges” facing the nation.

He said this while addressing to a public meeting today. Manmohan Singh even took on the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate L K Advani for raking up the issue of black money stashed in foreign banks. He said Advani is behaving “irresponsibly” for the sake of “election stunt.”

PM Manmohan Singh also said in the public meeting that BJP “does not understand” economic issues or the BJP is “deliberately misleading” people on the issue.

He said further that India is faced with “big challenges” and it should be given another chance to complete the unfinished tasks.

Quoting Manmohan Singh: “Parties whose politics is based on religion and caste cannot take the nation forward. You do not need to go to such parties.”
