Holi celebrated throughout India
Holi has been celebrated throughout the country. The festival of colours was celebrated by all the Indians. Children particularly enjoy the festival as they throw water filled balloons at passersby. They used their water missiles, called pichkaris to drench the person from far & escape further drenching. The festival of Holi is significant because Lord Krishna & Radha played Holi on this day.
This was going to be Aishwarya Rai’s first Holi after her wedding but the Bachchan family is not planning to celebrate the festival this year.
Jaya Bachchan said, “My mother-in-law (Teji Bachchan) passed away this year so we are not going to celebrate Holi. In fact, we will try to avoid attending any such parties too”.
