Sanjay Dutt & Manyata’s marriage cancelled

It is known that the Sanjay Dutt & Manyata that had been in news over the procedure & the documents submitted at the time of marriage filed a joint declaration before the Salcete Sub-Registrar stating they do not desire to honor their marriage under the Portuguese Civil Code, 1867.
They wanted to register their marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 but was not informed at the time of marriage that the specific act was not extended to Goa.
The duo says in his declaration, “We make this joint declaration, declaring that we hereby revoke & withdraw our declaration of marriage. We also declare that documents annexed there with be treated as withdrawn and cancelled from all legal effect. This joint declaration statement is being made voluntarily out of our free will and without any coercion to be presented before the Civil-cum-Sub Registrar.”
