It is to be noted that SRK endorses Pepsodent (owned by Unilever) and features in an ad Pappu & Papa where he acts as a father teaching his child the importance of brushing teeth. Unilever said the ad has gained so much fame that it has decided to come out with the comic book by the same as that of the ad.
According to marketing sources of Unilever, since SRK is equally popular among parents and children he as the best option for the ad. Ever since the ad was aired it had received great feedback and popularity and the idea of bringing out a comic book based on the ad is an extension of the promotional plan of the brand.
Comic books are still popular among children and the content from the ad featuring the ad will help to attract their attention. SRK who has won several accolades over the years has become the first Bollywood star on whom a comic book is based. Good going King Khan!!
