MUMBAI, India: Paa’s success now slowly and steadily reaches the global pedestal. It is undoubtedly a big news for director R. Balki, and the whole Paa team that Guinness Book of Records now considering the film to be included in their pages. It is the only film in the history of film, which features real life father-son duo reverse their roles in reel life.

It is indeed a great, though surprising event in the life of director R.Balakrishna as he confessed Paa a hotbed of unusual occurrences. Talking to reporter he said, “You know, while casting and all through the shooting, I never sat back to consider the uniqueness of the casting. It was only the people all around me who seemed to be constantly conscious of the casting oddity.”

After finishing the film he recognized the oddity of this aspect of film. He never anticipated that the film even considered as a world record.

However, the director has ensured that the “record making” film gets noticed in the right categories as soon as it catches the global eyeballs.

Balki is now planning for little vacation with his family and thinking of letting his wife Gauri Shinde to direct a film for his production house.

“Gauri has been a part of my creative processes for many years now. We got married two years ago. The film she wants to make is very different from what I do. Her script has a flavour that’s totally removed from mine.”
