Nitin Mukesh gets Lata Mangeshkar Award in MP
Nitin Mukesh a noted playback singer was conferred with Lata Mangeshkar Award by Madhya Pradesh government at an impressive function in Indore. Instituted by the department of culture, the Award carries a cash prize of Rs two lakh & a citation. The award was handed over to the singer by state culture, mines & public relation minister Laxmikant Sharma on Monday in Indore.
Nitin Mukesh is the 24th recipient of the prestigious award instituted in honour of melody queen Lata Mangeshkar, who was born in Indore by the Madhya Pradesh government. Dedicating the award to his mother & father, Nitin Mukesh, who is the son of legendary playback singer Mukesh, said it is matter of pride for him to receive this prestigious award.
