Dennis Farina arrested for loaded gun at Los Angeles airport
Dennis Farina a Hollywood actor has been arrested after gun found in his luggage at Los Angeles on Sunday local time. Dennis Farina was charged with a felony Sunday at Los Angeles International Airport after a loaded gun was found in his carry-on luggage.
A senior official of Police said that when the weapon was found at a security checkpoint, the 64 years old Dennis Farina said that he had forgotten the .22-caliber handgun was in his luggage.
Farina was booked for investigation of carrying a concealed weapon. Bail was set at $25,000 before police discovered the weapon was not registered. Charges were upgraded to a felony & he is now being held in lieu of $35,000 bail. The actor is also a former Chicago police officer. Calls to Farina’s lawyer & agent were not returned Sunday.
