September 04 — Bengali beauty actress Konkana Sen Sharma becomes Mrs. Ravir Shorey. She entered the wedlock with long-time boyfriend and Bheja Fry actor Ranveer Shorey.

The wedding of the two B-town’s noted personalities took place at Goregaon residence Friday evening in a mix of Bengali and Punjabi traditions.

The ceremony was closely-guarded with media and B-town celebrities and only close friends and relatives of the two were invited.

For about two years the two had been lovebirds and usually kept themselves away from the media glare. In June 2008 they got engaged.

According to Mumbai Mirror tabloid, the ceremony happened indoors. “Most industry folks were not invited even to this function. Konkona and Ranvir have always been very low profile people and they are not likely to ever change.”

The tabloid mentioned, “Ranvir clearly stood out amongst all the baaraatis and was looking smashing in his wedding attire.”
