Sixteen Maoists surrender in Bihar on Thursday
Mar 14th, 2008 | Category:Cities News, States NewsSixteen Maoists in Muzaffarpur surrendered & handed over a huge cache of arms to the police on Thursday. Five were wanted in several criminal cases from those sixteen Maoists who were surrendered in Muzaffarpur District.
An official of police said that the naxalites handed over 50 kg explosives, six detonators, two landmines, seven pistols, four rifles, two guns & several rounds of ammunition. The official said, “We will be giving the rehabilitation package to each of them in accordance with the policy framed by the state government”.
