Manmohan Singh on two-day Varanasi visit
Mar 14th, 2008 | Category:Cities News, States NewsPrime Minister Manmohan Singh will visit to the varanasi on Friday. Manmohan Singh will cover a long distance between BHU guest house to Dashaswamedh by car on Friday evening.
Hectic preparations were going on in all the areas & routes from where the motorcade would pass. After landing in BHU, he would go the Kashi Vishwanath temple & Dashaswamedh to see “ganga-aarti”. An official said that the all encroachments along the route were removed.
The administration has also made arrangements to provide motorboats for seeing the ghats from the river. Chief Minister Mayawati would receive the PM at Babatpur airport.
