Gangster Pushpraj Yadav shot dead

Pushpraj Yadav a gangster who was 31 years old was shot dead in an encounter by Special Task Force in Madhya Pradesh. Pushpraj had shot down a head constable, Vinay Yadav, in Maninagar in November 8, 2007. He had been absconding since then.

Vinay along with a constable had approached Pushpraj & two others who were loitering suspiciously near a bank in Maninagar. When Vinay tried to give Pushpraj a body search, the latter suddenly fished out a pistol and shot the cop, who was bent then, on the top of his head.

An official said that he was wanted in numerous robberies, extortions, abductions & murders. He used to operate in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh & Gujarat.
