7th August, 2012, Chandigarh: Anuradha Bali, also known as Fiza Mohammad, the estranged wife of Chandermohan, the former deputy chief minister of Haryana, was found dead at her Mohali residence yesterday.
The 39 year old was Haryana’s former assistant advocate general. According to reports her body was found on her bed with insects roaming over it. A senior police officer told that her body was in a decomposed state. Primary enquiry suggested that she probably have died 4 – 5 days ago.
Police stated that at this point of time, nothing can be said on whether it is suicide case. They have not found any suicide note. They would take a clear stand once they receive the post-mortem report.
Fiza Mohammad’s uncle called the police after neighbors kvetched of a nasty smell from her house. Her uncle Satpal told hat the police broke the door. Her neighbors said the police that Fiza appeared depressed in the last few months. She used to live alone and had arguments with neighbors in last few years.
She came to the spotlight with her marriage to Chandermohan, Haryana’s deputy chief minister at that time. Their marriage lasted around one and half month.
